This alcove was a Zero clearance fireplace built into the wall.
that is way you see the Pipe from the stove in the lower floor.

 


Avalon 1190,
Inserted into a fireplace the lintel was to
thick so we had to make a custom stainless
steel offset to move the pipe connector back
to hook up the stainless steel Liner.

A surround panel was installed later.
